Yoshi pipes - 276995 - 22-06-2009 My Busa came complete with a ding in one of they pipes. Before I go madly drilling holes, do these come apart if the rivets are removed so I can try and pop it back out? Steve RE: Yoshi pipes - big kev - 22-06-2009 steve you can remove the rivits an repair it yeah i did that when my bike feel on my by accident mare didnt take long either RE: Yoshi pipes - bazooka - 22-06-2009 Drill out the pop rivets and it will come apart - be carefull with the fibreglass matting in the muffler as it will be a tight fit to get back in and use Stainless Steel pops to put it back together -- my 2 bobs worth on it. Baz RE: Yoshi pipes - 276995 - 23-06-2009 Thanks Guys, that was what I was hoping for ![]() RE: Yoshi pipes - ohdear - 26-06-2009 *** RE: Yoshi pipes - BLACKZOOK - 26-06-2009 Drill the rivets and cut the outer housing and inner tube. Repack with glass using cable ties to hold the packing tightly in place. It will sound heaps tougher and it looks better shorter. There is a post you can search on .org cutting down the exhaust. |
