Annoying Rattle from front cowling - Shawn - 02-06-2009 Sounds like a wiring harness flapping in the breeze, but Ive cable tied the crap out of anything loose, Im at my wits end trying to find this rattle, anyone else had a similar rattle that hopefully turned out to be something obvious, but easily overlooked.... ![]() RE: Annoying Rattle from front cowling - BUSGO - 02-06-2009 If it is a GEN 1 99 - 07 it could be a loose screen. - common problem. If it is a GEN II 08 onwards and sounds a little like a slight clicking noise, it could be the front calipers and disk pads bedding in on a new bike. Other possibles are a loose fairing screw or clip.
