Lest We Forget - ohdear - 25-04-2009 Whilst out riding today or doing whatever guys and gals spare a thought for all those that gave their all to enable you to do so. Most were younger at the time than our youngest here. As my user name is piperjon, am a bagpiper and because i couldn't do the Bathurst ride as I go to Wollongong on Anzac eve to play my pipes for my Vietnam vet mates and also the darn service for the R S L, up at 4am and dress up in my gear. So I really do hope that who went past my place on the way to Bathurst had a great time. Next time I'll be there hay. Brekky followed, lots of coffee and orange juice. Good company. Great weekend. Lest we forget. |
