my first passenger blast on a busa!! - bigfoot - 04-04-2009

hi everyone! last night at about 9:30 surfabusa took me for a spin on his 06 busa!! i can't explain how incredible the acceleration is on these bikes. crusing in 4th on the motorway entrance he banged down to 3rd and gave it a bit i must say i swear i was going to fall off the back!! i could not get over how comfy the pillion seat was and in corners even with myself on the back was incredible especially with wet patches in the road! and i can only say great things about my new helmet. it is a craft rx6 evolution matte black and a black visor. i had no windnoise and could not believe how comfortable it was even at 120km/h. i think we scraped 130km/h but that was as fast as i have ever been on a bike before and it was incredible!!! thankyou so much Alan (surfabusa) for the ride can't wait till next time when its dry and you really show me what it can do!!!!BikerBikerYes

I just hope you didn't get too "excited" sitting on the back there...if you catch my drift...

So you got to 130kms/hr huh? Thats pretty good, thats about all the bike is good for, around the 120km/hr mark.

Then there is second gear...

if 130 did that to you, I reckon you'll need nappies/diapers when the busa really get going at 200+ glad you enjoyed it tho.....130 pffft like he said above time to get outa first gear dont ya reckon?

heres something to look forward to.My data logger shows 0-100km/hr in just under 2.00 seconds,0-200km/hr takes 5.6 seconds, thats all without a turbo or nos or a longer swingarm. Not many cars that you can cruise down to the local pizza shop in are going to put those numbers to shame. If you dont drag race theres enough adrenaline supply from these bikes to wear one out before they don,t push your buttons anymore.
