New bike on the block.
BMW tries again to catch up to the busa with an upgraded K1300S.
For those going to Nymboida next week, Mike has traded the old yellow beemer in on a newbie.

Looks like a nice bike but it's hard to justify the price compared to a busa. Has it got ABS and traction control etc ?

Tons of extras. Both of the above plus heated grips, air shifter on the gearbox.
The motor is only 3bhp below the GEN II busa now but the handling is much better.
Comes standard with braided lines and on board computer etc.
Yes but still an extra $14,000 makes it a rich man's busa.

Yes well it will be good to see how BMW goes in the superbikes, they have always had good bikes, if you like that sort of thing.
