Fishing Pics - kitmark - 18-02-2009

It was 75cm. Caught at Clifton Gardens Sydney harbour whilst targeting flathead.

20 min battle with the flick stick, 3kg line with 2 inch squidgy wriggler.

Had to up pick and chase him.

Got busted off twice with 25 kg braid when chasing kingies.

Going back next week for round 2.

I can't believe you spelt it properly!
So, did you cook it or line it up with an exocet and blow it up?

RE: Fishing Pics - BUSGO - 21-02-2009

I've shown this one before but it was my biggest offshore fish.
Two years ago on the Gold Coast floating a small strip of mackeral for bait.
I gave it to the dekkie who probably sold it for a bob or two.
No idea what it weighed but it took me 15 mins to pull it in on an Alvey reel.
