Removing the screen?? - bassmaniac69 - 04-02-2009

Silly question - what is involved in removing the screen? Is it just the two bolts on the fairing or is there a secret to it all??

I have a new carbon fiber screen coming and just want to make sure I don't stuff it up!! Icon_rolleyes

Screens are meant to brake on impact, not cut ya head off, which I'm sure a carbon fibre one will do.
Fair dinkum!Scary
If you've got a plastic screen, use blue locktite on the bolts and don't overtighten as you'll crack the plastic. Note the attachment "maniac"Wm

You'll get a good yankee one, probably made in Mexico at: www.alpha-sports.com
