Can anybody help ?? - Quikshifter - 08-12-2008

Hi guys , how u's doin ?

I was wondering if anyone can help me out, I wanna purchase a new Ventura touring rack for my K9. Problem is .... I like their racks but I hate their bags and they tell me they wont sell them separatly unless I already own one of their bags. To prove it, they want me to produce a portion of the tag from inside the bag, not the whole tag, just a portion to prove it is one of their bags.

If anyone could post me this required portion, I would happily return to them a lousey $10 money order for your trouble.

contact me for E-mail address and I'll get my give postal address to you !
regards ~ Joe

Seems a bit odd as I purchased one of their racks without one of their bags for my '92 GSXR 11 & their wasn't a suitable bag for sale in the shop. I must admit this was 6 years ago & the bike was..., well..., 10yo.

Still after owning one of their bags, (on my Busa) I must admit I'm impressed. A- it's very easy to use, holds shit loads, (I've got the 454L expandable to 60L unit) & eradicates the need for occy straps & takes about 3sec to secure/take off). B- It's made in NZ which is amazing as there's not a back pack in the world thats not made in China or Vietnam & thus isn't made using slave labour. Support them for continuing to make their bags in a country that doesn't support slave labour. Buggered if I'd let my kids work 18hr shifts for 30c an hr.

Sorry for the rant but their bags really are worth buying.... Undo 2 clips, lift it off, sign in & find the shower/raid the mini bar....Bloody great...

it sounds bizzare, surely they'd want the sale? Why should they give a shit whether you own one of their bags. Maybe they think they'll get an extra sale out of you.

I bought a ventura rack for my 'busa about 8 years ago
so I could slip my old gearsack onto it.

I'd be ringing around.
