First drop ever, in my parking bay, uphill... - evilRasp - 02-10-2008

Yup, I'm a bit special. First time ever, put the bike down on the ground (softly) after I forgot the sidestand. More Idiot2Lol3 than anything else. I was on one leg, couldn't hold the bike up and couldn't jump off quickly as I was too close to a wall. Softly went down on the ground (not even a thump).

Anyway, no major visible damage, minor scratch where the mirror folded back (will buff out just fine), and no visible damage to the panels. The left hand engine cover lost a tiny bit of paint from the bottom, and most annoyingly the left hand side exhaust hanger is bent.

The exhaust pipe ends are still evenly spaced from the bike's centre line, but the peg is visibly bent at the very top. Someone may know, is it likely I've bent just the hanger, or have I actually bent part of the subframe?

Anything else I should check over?

VERY lucky.
I rested mine down a while back in gravel and it cost me 500 in paint.
