Retro colour - Dr.Strangelove - 07-09-2008

Posted this on the question on the American site, on the colour scheme i would like to see, and it is of a retro look of the 87 GSX110R I had one of the best bikes made ( next to a Busa of course )
Any thoughts on if this would look good ?

RE: Retro colour - ROD - 07-09-2008

I had a 85 750 and when i first saw the 99 busa in the shitty copper colourVery Happy thats what i thought why did they not keep in line with the gsxr colours but now i think NO the busa is not a 750 or 1100 its in a class of its own and should remain that way

RE: Retro colour - humbussa - 07-09-2008

I like it but it's probably just coz I had an '89 11 in that exact same color. How about a Busa in the black & red, (?) of the orig '85 750? Then again who am I to say, I've got one of those "shitty" Copper Busas..., beautiful things they are.

RE: Retro colour - abusa - 08-09-2008

We had one up this way in retro colours when they first came out, saw it at Tony Armstrongs, didnt look too bad at all.

I like what Yamaha did with the Retro colours on the R1

I like it.

But it'd be interesting to see what those colours do for the lines of the bike.
