Yep, no rain and I'm there. Might need to get a new tyre on the way - so will need to scrub it in....

Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on a new coffee/breakfast shop for Saturday mornings. Maybe we should get a few places, try them out and see which one we would prefer or we could keep rotating between them. My suggestion would be The Carousel at Cessnock, not that much to look at but a big brekky with coffee is about $10.00 and if you have a mug about $11.00 - $12.00 from memory.Parking isn't bad. And if we want to go for a ride afteer we can head off in a few different directions that we can go.
Anyone??

Yeah, sounds ok to me brad. I always feel like a duck out of water round the latte' crew in darby st.Too many dicks trying to squeeze the saab next to our machines.Another bonus is it's not very far to the Putty or Wollombi/vineyards..............
Also we can duck across the road to check out the chookchasers.

Re: Saturdays - Coffee and Chat - BUSGO - 25-07-2006

Sounds like a good spot Braddo.

I have to be at the Wallsend Diggers club at noon for a Philip Island planning session though so I might miss this Saturday.
I'll keep an eye on the thread and see what develops.

If anyone wants to join in for the ride down to the island and back, you are welcome to come to our meeting at the Wallsend Diggers as mentioned above.

We have a group of 6 so far.
1 X Buell, 1 X ST1100, 1 X TRX850, 1 X BMW K1200S, 1 X Ducati Monster and me.

Re: Test run at Cessnock - BUSGO - 03-08-2006

I hope to make it out to Cessnock this Saturday.

I just got connected to broadband and have now got fast access. So my surfing and downloading are pretty much unlimited. It's amazing how Optus could get us online but Telstra couldn't considering they are using the Telstra landline.

Looks like tomorrow morning will be a washout.
I might take the car into Cafe Grind at Darby St instead if it is real wet.
