Dear Damsel,
See the link below for bike recommendations.
In some states you may be restricted to 250cc and under.
I think that in QLD this is about to change which opens up a whole new range of learner legal bikes.

I had already seen this and to answer the reply about why not do own research (can't remember who)??? I have. But it's massive and you know what, they must all use the same marketing departments - they say the same stuff!!!! And nothing is comparable to those not in the know. A beginners nightmare... Who believes that stuff these days? Want the real info from riders not PR or marketing people who have never been on a bike for real anyway. Members opinions on this stuff REALLY COUNTS. Gotta be balance. Only know what you know right?? Remember this is someone whose childhood consisted of a lot of phone calls from hospitals saying your dads come off a bike...again.....
Want to do it bad, but want to do it smart too... Any help appreciated.

OK, just saw a red/black (Gen II I think?), around my way near the Mirvac construction site on Evelyn St at 10.50 this morning.... is that any of you guys stalking a Honda S2000... he didn't see me coming out of the drive but I saw him. If I wasn't off for a physio appointment I would have given chase and referred him to the club :)
Have also had a major education on helmets today. Sweet. Also went and found out about a course.... Extra sweet.
