But if you personly no a few members that can vouch for you well all good.

You caught me out rod. I formulated my plan last year. Join the club, post a few photo's of my fake bike, buy some Pazo levers with rainbows BGW deal, make some donations to all the club members doing movember, buy an ECU and pay to have it flashed by Pete, buy some seats and have Kev customise them, and then just sit and wait for someone to come and offer Hayabusa fairings for shipping costs only.
It was a bloody great plan until you worked it out. Nothing gets past you rod, no wonder you're a mod. Idiot2
Damn, now I have to find another way to get a new skateboard.

rod you make mention that remmy could be a 15 yr old kid , just to clarify i have spoken to remmy on the phone hes no kid just to make sure its on the record rod .

RE: Aftermarket Fairings - ROD - 24-03-2011

Remsta you dont no what this is Lol3 JOKE get it

I think this needs to be worked out and if you dont like the ? Remsta you should not be reveiwing on behalf of the club so no idiot here just asking the ? so how many members have you personly met.

Kev remember what i spoke to you about when you called me once about a diferent matter thats the problem.

Well, im sure all this looks great to prospective vendors

Can i please get a maturity discount once some reviews are up?

I think this could have been handled a little better, and i dont realy want to stick my nose in were its probly not wanted, but volvi if an older member was keen on the deal, then perhaps they could have spoken up? And been involved in this thread earlyer on (not sure if they were or not?) If ya dont speak up you get nothing in this world

Got me f****d why all motorcycle forums are full of opinionated hotheads lol

Personaly all i want to know is how good the fairings are, i dont realy care who gives the review, as long as there a member, and giving fellow members an honest opinion on the product

Yep, funny how only a few of us were seriously interested until the words "free fairing" came into the equation.
I hope Jennifer withdraws the offer. I'll still buy a set at full price and do a review anyway.

RE: Aftermarket Fairings - Fairings - 25-03-2011

I think the easiest way to do this is just to put it to a vote.

I've created two options, Remsta & Bazman or BLACKZOOK's option. I'll leave it up till Monday, March 28th. It's a public poll.

Please place your votes :)

RE: Aftermarket Fairings - drworm - 25-03-2011

One option seems to have not been considered. If people are so worried about the review, why not ship them to person A, let them fit and review, remove then ship to person B. Two reviews for each set of fairings, everyone happy!

+1 Skidmarx......that's the most intelligent thing I've read lately (...and that EVEN includes the "picture" and "people" magazine I ummmm...."read" Read last night at workLol3)

Your name should be up on that poll, Skid.....U'd get my vote! Pi_thumbsup

RE: Aftermarket Fairings - Bill Gaheer - 25-03-2011

Since this thread has gone form - bad to worst. We admins have to step in and now make a decision on behalf of the club.

Until now this was a democratic process and now it will be dictated.....I am sorry but it is important that we all learn what we loose when we cannot resolve things internally.

Jennifer sorry that we let you sit with popcorn and enjoy the commentary going on in this thread - we don't need your poll or future comments - we will put our decisions jointly sometime next week and you can respond accordingly.

Apologies to all the members who participated in this thread. Hope we resolve this soon.

No more comments required on this thread...

Cheers
Bill

RE: Aftermarket Fairings - Skidmarx - 25-03-2011

As i said im not realy fussed about who gets them, and does the review, i trust most members would write a fairly unbiased review of the product, in saying that, i think it would only be fair if remsta was able to buy the fairings once fitted and tested, at a heavily discounted/donation rate, as im sure hes probly a little more than shitty right now, id hate to think that we are loosing members over this little spat that im sure was started with the best intentions

RE: Aftermarket Fairings - BLACKZOOK - 25-03-2011

Im furcking over this and over the dummy spits.

I withdraw my offer.

For those pin heads out there I was offering to pay for the freight and for a professional to fit them to my bike and then to immediately remove them.

They would then be sold by the club for the club.

I do not want the fairings and never did as I stated I already have two sets of FACTORY fairings in perfect nick that I keep as spares for my bikes.

Offer withdrawn. Bill / Volvi get someone else

RE: Aftermarket Fairings - bazman - 25-03-2011

To All Concerned....

I am ready, willing and more than happy to do a review on the Gen1 fairing kit (for and on behalf of all of our gen1 club members), that has been very generously provided by Fairings (Jennifer) from http://www.motorcycle-fairing.com/suzuki-gsx1300r-hayabusa-fairings.htm

And in light of recent postings.....I hope that an amicable decision can be made soon, so that the Gen2 fairing kit can also be reviewed for the benefit of our gen2 club members as well Undecided

To Jennifer......
I personally guarantee that this fairing kit will be fitted by a professional m/cycle fairing fitter (the name and details of which shall be supplied in the review)......and that I will do my absolute best to provide an honest, open and detailed appraisal of your product!

To all fellow gen1 club members that have an interest in this product.....
I personally guarantee that this review will be completed, to the best of my ability, in two parts:-
1- An honest appraisal by the professional fairing fitter, after fitment;
2- An honest, open and detailed appraisal by myself, in three stages: after fitment / after 1000 road tested kms / after 2500 road tested kms.

I trust that all concerned will benefit from this review, one way or another....Very Happy

keep it fun,
bazman
