That is terribly, terribly BUTCH of you Pan! NICE WORK!

P.S. They so aren't you.

Quick update... still chopping and weighing, but the rain has meant I've had little time to spend on it.

Here are some of the findings:

Complete Hindle titanium exhaust and can: 3.8 kgs

One OEM can, over 3kgs!

OEM top triple tree

Slip ons to replace it

Slip ons with carbon fibre inserts

...still going... hopefully have it much more ready [at least enough for a track day] in a couple of months!

RE: Hayabusa Track Bike - Heidi1 - 14-07-2010

HURRY UP!!! GET MORE MEN! I want to see this beauty on the track (but I'll settle for the trailer).

RE: Hayabusa Track Bike - Axe - 14-07-2010

The Gen2 exhaust is even heavier!!!!!

I was shocked!

RE: Hayabusa Track Bike - pan - 12-08-2010

Did a bit more chopping on the weekend...

Lol2 Only in Marrickville, maybe you should have turned that blinker area into a large air ram for the main straight Scary

Maybe I should start a guessing competition about how much it's gonna end up weighing! Roll

Bet you $1 it'll be at least 5kgs less WITH a full tank!???
Are you on?

RE: Hayabusa Track Bike - CeeJay07 - 14-08-2010

I reckon about 215kgs ready to ride. plus rider of course, but that should be minimal if Pan has a haircut!

RE: Hayabusa Track Bike - Ward P - 14-08-2010

Wasn't a gen 1 only 217kg (onlyLol2) stock????

if it comes in at 230kg I think you're doin' it way wrong! Idiot2

maybe if you jump up in the air while you're riding it , it will be lighter?
Have you started shaving weight off your gear yet? sanding the helmet back to paper thin? Maybe painting on leathers to your bare skin? Swap those big heavy boots for thongs??? Gloves? who needs gloves!

There ya go. Just saved you another 15kg. Easy Pi_tongue
