Tony where did you get the mirrors you talk about here.
Are they locally bought or ebay.
I have always had problems with my B King mirrors , but I am a little bit wider then you.

Thanks
Russell

Local. Pretty cheap. Can't remember the brand but any shop can get them in.
I've had them from a few shops. I just pop the caps off and nip the nut and spring up
a little in the mount to stop them turning at speed.

I have the old receipt down the shed, I'll find the part numbers out next time in down there
but they are no wider than stock, I do use wider bars though.

On the road before 6am, nice and cool and less traffic for the public hol Monday.
A "Spirited" 223k's (138 miles) and home in time for breakfast.

Tony I've said it before and I'll say it again, your garage lineup is incredible. I came *this* close to buying a 14 before my Busa and while I love riding the Bus, I still want to own a 14 some day.

Do it Mars! Give in to the dark side! It's awesome owning both!

LOL Woody I would have the garage lineup perfected if it werent for my wife Lol3, who knows what the next 12 months will bring - i keep spotting random 14s and thinking that it will definitely be my next ride...unless B-Kings tumble in value hehe

True Mars. I have had a B-King also. I felt it was to close to a naked Busa. The 1400 is a lot smoother. It's not as powerful as the B-King but if I want power I have the Busa. The Gsx1400 is just "nice" and I love it :)
Mind you, if the wife let me buy a third bike it would be a B-King :)

Everyone must be watching the tin tops at Bathurst on TV ?

Roads are very quiet. Great day to be out and about....

A short ride up to Griffin to look at a new work site, then over to Scarborough.
Not far but a beautiful morning and home in time for MotoGP practice.

that naked Busa is pretty rad.

RE: Gave the Busa and King a rest.... - Tony Nitrous - 19-10-2014

I keep meaning to pull it to bits and re-do it with a few upgrades.
I have been collecting bits for a while and have a few idea's.

Poor bike has had a hard life, it was originally built before the B-King was on sale
and I've had my B-King 7 years this month.

Busa has had a lot of abuse and K's without much love and has rarely complained.

Dug out a rack and a mono-key box for the 1400,
dusted off an old tank bag,
"converted" a Staintune baffle to fit the Yoshi system,

....ET voila! One cheap nasty (and not very pretty!) tourer.
