The Carrozza wheels run a kwaka sprocket I know that much and the gale speeds run god knows what but as far as i know busa is busa and no degrading it by sticking even more cheesier items on it

Some Suzuki Sprockets Interchange, sorry cant tell you off hand. They may not be listed as fitting but the Parts Guru should be able to check it out for you. I think I had a Gixxer 1000 on the front of mine.

Just letting you guys know, we did a bit of a spannering session round at max's & did the 43 sprocket on the rear. I have to say the difference in my opinion is impressive. The front still doesn't lift much for me, cept if I crack it wide open half way through 1st. Definately one of the best bang for buck mods out there I'd say.
We went and scrubbed the new tyres in today round the twisties. Ended up with Corsa 3's. Seem good so far. Damn Max is quick through those corners!

I ordered spare sprockets from AFAM for my Galespeeds.
Chain is a 530 I got a 41t and a 42t
41 is AFAm part #(17618h)
42 is #(17402) also states is for a ZRX1200 (01-05), ZX9R (01), ZX12R (-05) hope this helps

I rode Josh's copperhead today, that thing really makes great power anyway. The whole thing spins more easily than the black and grey and floggs really explosively, that was before the sprocket increase.. We also fitted after market pads, they made a big differrence, now she brakes really well, for standard brakes anyway.
I'm still flat out trying to cope with the power the Bus makes without externals, I'll wait until I can outride her before wanting more, more more, like a few of the lunatics on this board, aye Bruce, Shredder and a few more names that just fall into this spot so readily:2funny:

Went to Col on Friday, got 172hp on the dyno and am now getting 18.4kms/litre and she is pulling like a TRAIN! I am stoked with the result. I'd forgotten how cool Hayabusas are when they can breathe. No more running at the back of the pack now.

I know that at an indicated 120kph it is actually doing about 112 with stock sprockets.
Using my trusty calculator that would mean an indicated 100 is about 94 actual.

Let me preface this by saying "pardon my ignorance".
I'm thinking of going up a couple of teeth on the rear sprocket.
Not really chasing acceleration but more interested in getting the back wheel pushed as far forward as possible... And I figure the larger sprocket would take up more chain.
Am I better off just removing a link from my chain?

Tim, I removed a link from the chain on my last busa and it made no discernable difference to the handling of the bike.
Its just a suggestion but I wouldn't bother if that is your only goal.
Some others disagree with my finding though so go for it if you think you will be able to tell the difference and let us know how you go.

I'm currently running a 42 tooth back sprocket and I love it. Far more pull and the bike just feels sharp.
hang on a sec, I'm running a Gen1, the sprockets have different teeth on the Gen2.

Hey Tim if you just want it to turn better try 55 rear profile tyre and some dog bones (raising links) these have been my two most noticeable changes to the bikes dynamics in tipping in.
Ran with a 16/44 for a short while thought I was on a R1
If not what are you trying to achieve?
