cleaning your bike - arthur dunga - 13-03-2007 I've been using MR SHEEN since the first fleet arrived, works as a degreaser too. Hey BUGSO hundred grand be nice send to Hugh. R. HIGH BSB 31667 ACC 327 454 THANKS Re: cleaning your bike - capebusa - 13-03-2007 Simple answer to simple question. I wet wash. Every second wash i wax. If bike is clean but dusty, i use maguiers quick detailer and a microfibre cloth. endo facto. As for the dispute between Xhiler8r and Raz. Who gives a rats? I've heard all sorts a stuff about Mr Sheen, from "it's the bestist, cheapist, rar rar rar". All the way to, "it'll stuff ya paint, it's got silcone beads in it that will scratch ya clear coat, blah blah blah". Who's right? Who's wrong? Who cares! It's a cleaning product. Your a consumer. What you choose to clean your bike with is your choice. I don't use it. As for the issue: If somebody offers me advice, good for them, who know's it might actually be useful advice and i might even listen to it. Either way, it's just advice. Good or bad doesn't matter, how we choose to react to it is up to us. I don't think any group, especially a bike group like this, needs to argue or become vindictive over something so trivial. I've never spoken out about something like this in other groups I've been a part of. But, damn it, i like this group and i'm dissapointed that this sorta shit is going on amoungst people who share a common interest. I've got NO respect for car drivers when I'm on the bike. I've got NO respect for pushy people in supermarkets. I"ve got NO respect for the cops or the law, ok, not true but I really dont like speed cameras. But the point is i have a heap of respect for anybody who wants to be a part of a something bigger than themselves, like this group. And to truely be a part of it you have to accept others for who they are, totally without judgement. Allright, stepping down off the soap box. Let those who got stuck, pull the knives from thier backs and can we all please try and respect others opinions. (Even if we disagree) Geoff Hmmm, now that i have said all that I recall a quote "Best to say nothing and be thought a fool than to open ones mouth and remove all doubt". I'll shut up now. Re: cleaning your bike - Driller - 13-03-2007 Lemon scent is for girls! Not that theres anything wrong with that! Besides I think the lemon eats threw your paint Re: cleaning your bike - Xhiler8r - 13-03-2007 Oh Bruce now you have gone and offended me now that wasnt a nice thing to do As for shit stirring has anyone else been visiting this site over the last week or so it has been FUCKEN DEAD now all i did was liven it up a bit I appologise raz you were an easy target and I threw the line in and you swallowed it I have been so bored since Rocket bought the Busa I have no-one to hang any shit on anymore cya soon BWUCE Cheers My Last 3 Rides -> 02-Busa, 06-M109R, 00-Busa Re: cleaning your bike - pan - 13-03-2007 I disagree with Rocket and I think he's a fag that can't ride around corners or go straight very fast Re: cleaning your bike - RaZ80 - 13-03-2007 damn it X - you ended it too soon ya's all & your right x - tis been too quite. Sorry to the thread starter - it was something stupid to argue on & I was bored lol (also dealing with shitty software at work that umm, didn't work ) in all seriousness - like I said - its something I was only told. some agree - some dont. For the sake of the convo between myself & X - yes sheenie's good - I used it all my other bikes & never bother with a respray. I HEAR that if you do a respray - the paint work CAN look... rippled - I think would be the best way to explain it & you would only see it if your looking for it or something. oh and it might have issues sticking - since I dont have insurance due to the massively high costs for my age group... resprays work out cheaper sometimes my only real problem would be recommending to use it to someone knowing that it could cause an issue one day. not that its a big one - as proven here most use it ;) Anyway where is Mr ?? PS: anyway X - atleast - "Busa riders always count in three's.... 100, 200, 300" Edited by: RaZ80 at: 13/3/07 22:52 Re: cleaning your bike - BUSGO - 13-03-2007 Now that that is all over, I think we can retitle this thread to "CLEANSING YOUR SOUL" or.. "IS THIS THE RIGHT ROOM FOR AN ARGUMENT?" Rgds BUSGO "TAKE MY ADVICE" I'm not using it anyway! Re: cleaning your bike - Volvi - 13-03-2007 Ive used sheen only prob I have with it is its static thats attracts dust. plexus fares better in that department. ive seen a bike 20 yr old looked brand new I asked the owner shit what do you use? he said mr sheen. But am using plexus now coz I gotta can, if not will use sheen. Re: cleaning your bike - rocket rod 7777 - 13-03-2007 Who gives a shit about plexus or Mr Sheen,i'm here for the inuendos. Pan i might be a slow soft little pee wee rider, but i have more hair than you. on my head anyway. Lets go out and a few pansy honda riders. Bloody rednecks! Back in black! Re: cleaning your bike - AstroBusa - 14-03-2007 This commercial break was brought to you by station sponsor, Mr. Sheen. Its so easy, leave the work to Mr. Sheen ! After all the free advertising they've just had, Mr. Sheen had better be a major sponsor of Jindy 2008. The older I get, the better I was. Regards.... Rob Re: cleaning your bike - loverustler - 14-03-2007 i personally never use mr sheen Mark Re: cleaning your bike - Djpete - 14-03-2007 is it just me or does Pan look a little like the Mr Sheen man? Cheers, Pete Z Web World Mobile Dj, Web Design, Photography Re: cleaning your bike - AzaVic - 14-03-2007 I bought one of those plastic spray bottles, filled it up with a mix of paint thinners and wax remover and brake fluid. If you do it any other way your doing it the hard way. By the way, if suzuki paint is so crap, why are all the resprayed bikes i've seen, flaking and cracking while all the ones that still have there oem paint work mostly ok (got to allow for stone chips) Didnt know you were in bred raz ? Maybe you know my Tasmanian cousins.. sorry Rod... but your not one of them anymore. anway, back to the topic.. spray on the cleaners give it a good rub down then hose it off.. if that dont get the dirt of your bike then i give up! Arguing with idiots is like wrestling a pig in the mud, you both get dirty but the pig enjoys it!
