RE: Yoshimura R77 Slip Ons - BUSGO - 28-04-2016 The size and volume of the stock mufflers on the Gen2 probably allow the same flow as the R77. Hence the availability as an option in overseas markets. I just test the consumption and I'm getting 75klm less to a tank!! RE: Yoshimura R77 Slip Ons - Shordy - 28-04-2016 75 km less. I can't see that as being possible. You don't have one muffler faulty and blocked solid do you? RE: Yoshimura R77 Slip Ons - DjPete - 29-04-2016 you havent accidentally hopped on someone elses bike have u? (Sorry I just had to) RE: Yoshimura R77 Slip Ons - BUSGO - 29-04-2016 No change in consumption on mine between stock and 77s. A very easy test to see if it adjusts the mapping. Worst that can happen is you need to reset your clock. 😀 Sent from my SM-G360G using Tapatalk RE: Yoshimura R77 Slip Ons - Hayabusabike - 30-04-2016 RE: Yoshimura R77 Slip Ons - Robyyy - 30-04-2016 Yoshimura R77 Slip Ons - tickedo - 30-04-2016 RE: Yoshimura R77 Slip Ons - BUSGO - 01-05-2016 RE: Yoshimura R77 Slip Ons - Hayabusabike - 01-05-2016 Hey Bugso, yeah it sounds like high rev riding but in my case it's not. Maybe I just had bad luck with all the slip ons, but the fuel consumption/distance ratio always dropped. I did bring it up with my local Suzuki dealer on many occasions. Now I've done more work on my latest Busa I've thrown efficiency out the window :) and it feels great :) Yoshimura R77 Slip Ons - tickedo - 04-05-2016 Ok I've done a back to back test. Slip ons on 300klm/27ltr. Std mufflers 300klm/23ltr. Same riding to and from work, all highway. RE: Yoshimura R77 Slip Ons - BUSGO - 04-05-2016 That's one very thirsty busa in both situations. I get between 320 & 350 from 17 litres. Even two up sticking to the speed limits. Although, I don't live in the city, which would probably explain your high consumption.
