I've read a few comparison reviews and basically it comes down to what you will use the camera for. -If you were only ever going to mount it on your helmet, go for the Contour. If you want something that can be used for skiing/skydiving/surfing/whatever, get the GoPro. Also, the GoPro can take a 32GB SD card, which the Contour does not.
