** Update **

Does any body have a spare flux capacitor ???

For anybody considering doing some polishing, here is some handy hints...... oven cleaner does not work, bi-carb soda and vinegar does not work, acid based sanding with degreaser does not work. Unless I completely strip the bike and soak in the before mentioned draino, so its just lots of sanding with wet and dry.

I am working on something else to try as well, so I will up-date y'all as I go.

Cheers for now,
Natcam

Have done a few now all you have to use is caustic soda. Just brush it on the frame will go black. Then wash with warm soapy water. Then polish. Do not try to sand blast it off it will f*** the alloy.

yep anything caustic based removes it caustic soda mixed with water make sure you add the caustic to the water and not the other way around.the oven cleaner is probly the easiest and safest option for you to do at home.dont leave on for too long though as you will etch the ali to much and start to create pitting holes.make sure you wear gogles and gloves while doing it if you need more details pm me
