clutches and clutches - kev11e - 07-06-2006 G'day My first slave cylinder leaked after say 6 years, and I replaced it with the correct model slave cylinder (99). It lasted only 12 months, and I had it replaced with a current model jobbie, hoping that any mods would be a benefit. They bolt straight in. Significant difference? Lever pressure. The late model jobbies must be a smaller bore, because the pressure is very different. And therefore I would hazard a guess that the master is a different bore also.... Regards Kevin Dirt Seal - fasterfaster1 - 07-06-2006 Yep the seals are the same unit thru the models, so one would say your easier clutch has simply come from new components operating efficiently against the old and crappy FF1 Edited by: fasterfaster1 at: 25/6/06 5:37 pm RE: Dirt Seal - Vanishing Point - 11-03-2011 (07-06-2006, 07:06pm)fasterfaster1 Wrote: Yep the seals are the same unit thru the models, so one would say your easier clutch has simply come from new components operating efficiently against the old and crappy Best Part for longer clear clutch fluid and no sand or chain grease You can order it by Paul, Kojak. http://www.hayabusa-service.de/product_info.php?language=en&products_id=1&XTCsid=k1od0o7i7d2p1kschjbbnff1d1 Greetings from The Netherlands , Kees RE: Clutch fluid dark? And with his and SR new exhaust, he is the top in Germany. ? Do you see the RED 2 Dampers/ Red2 sprocket damper. It has tested with more than 500rwhp. I order a lot off parts from his shop. The RED DAMPERS has the nummer 2 They are a little bit stiffer , Paul has indeed a good relation with Greg Smithaaaaaa and PetriK That's the reason , that in Europe Ecu Hacking the new tune add. is. Now we want all Stators and ECU's from 2002-2007 Sorry for the bad english text. Greetings from The Netherlands , Kees RE: Clutch fluid dark? I've ridden in the snow and several downpours for days at a time, and without doubt it's the best value for money I've spent on the bike. The crap you get off of the road around the push rod is unbelievable, and that thing keeps every last bit away from the delicate components. Magic! RE: Clutch fluid dark? You must read this... - Maj - 12-03-2011 There is a bit of demand for the ecu and rotors here too but i think that will change soon as more take up the gen 2 flashing and even convert the gen 1 to gen 2 ecu I'm trying to do the conversion now but have trouble finding a gen 2 cam cover to fit the later cam sensor , had no probs getting a ecu and loom |
