Vics, N by NW?? - demeester - 17-12-2006 Apologies, Rod, Aza, and Rev - that last bit was my worst navigation ever Great day, everyone. Sorry, non attendees, no photos... 9 bikes, after Aza joined us in Creswick. Re: Sun 17th? Vics, N by NW?? - rev 01 - 17-12-2006 No sweat Richard About your bike.........looked rich smelt rich..... The odds are the thimble filter under your fuel pressure regulator is blocked......... Don't forget the plastic mesh filter at the end of the pump and the main cartridge filter. While you or whoever has the tank off attending to it, check those shitty moulded fuel hoses for deformation & get rid of them if they are. If you've got a K & N or BMC air filter, clean it out & re oil or just blow the stocker out with comp air. After you've done all that, check your fuel consumption @ a steady 100kph. If it's mapped right you should be getting around 17-20 k's per litre, maybe a tad more Bit undignified for the Rev to be pushing that thing matey, reminded me of my Triumph riding days Re: Sun 17th? Vics, N by NW?? - demeester - 18-12-2006 Will sort out what I can on my own, today, and then get Balls to take care of the rest. At least I didn't need to get you to tow me - undignified for everyone... Needs a new battery, and a new rear as well... Canvas showing in one or two spots by the time I was home. Re: Sun 17th? Vics, N by NW?? - BUSAnthony - 18-12-2006 how was the ride? where did you end up? Re: Sun 17th? Vics, N by NW?? - AzaVic - 18-12-2006 Imagine this. Go to Ballarat with gf Saturday for a birthday part, stay in Ballart overnight. Take girlfriend for a ride in the sun up to Daylesford, have lunch at the lake. Just when she is thinking how sweet I am, we start to head back, past a pub and what do I see.. I bunch of Busa's with familiar number plates... So much for the romantic day my gf was having... it became a half day ride for her.. haha. Re: Sun 17th?
