Re: Melbourne ride - Djpete - 13-03-2006 No excuse Rocket. I worked the night b4, got to bed at 2am and got up at 7am... Caught a 595 and rocket 3 by Yarra Glen , then a few more assorted by Kinglake. Then decided that I would let the neighbours graze on the front lawn (instead of feeding them) and spend the rest of the day in the hills. Tolangi, Healesville, Black Spur, Marysville, Lake Mountain, lunch at Reefton Pub etc Got to say I was surprised at the low bike traffic numbers up in the hills. Probably only a dozen oncoming bikes or so from Marysville to Reefton and not even any Harley's to pass. Not even one turned up at the Reefton pub for the hour that I was there. My guess is it was either too hot, or their neighbours were hungry. Oh and I'd like to say a special thankyou to the Commonwealth Games people for organising all the pork crackling for themsleves. Not a cracker was seen all day. Drink fuckin @ Re: Mist Ewe - Djpete - 13-03-2006 i reckon the long weekend scared em off (cops?) Sumkun. Um I slept in 15 mins so we actually left around about 8.45...missed by THAT much... Should start flooding back into Melbourne and North on the first ferry to arrive. Lookout next weekend, the roads will be busy. Regards BUSGO Riding not Working or Travelling to Tassie. Re: Melbourne ride - rocket rod 7777 - 13-03-2006 Quote:No excuse Rocket. As i said DJ,i didnt have to be home at lunchtime,so you have no chance in hell of getting this little black duck out of bed at 7.30 am on a sunday morning. Phuck its the Phantom....... There's the V-4 thing - there's just something about it that inline 4s don't have, and V-twins have too much of. Re: Melbourne ride - Djpete - 13-03-2006 we'll discuss this over coffee on Wed..
