Nothing more, nothing less!Trophy Thinking about down time due to damage, injuries etc.  $2k wouldn't even touch it. The Brake techs have it every time.
The learning in this matter came very simply to "slow down in traffic, speeds in excess of warp 5 can end very quickly!"

This is why i bought a motard. 150 flat out, and great fun in the corners.
290kph got boring in the country and dangerous in the city.

I had one very sinilar to our American friend last weekend. Riding between Montville and Maleney stuck behind a slow moving Pajero. Clear road ahead, no double lines, give it a fist full and commence overtaking the Pajero. Suddenly Mrs Cunthooks pulls out of a driveway in front of me without even a look in my direction. Just a quick look to her right and pulls straight out in front of me. It made me sit up and take notice I can tell ya! Fortunately when she realized what she had done she swerved left and left me with just enough room to sqeeze by but it was a close thing. The whole episode happened in the blink of an eye but it was certainly a sobering experience.
Ya gotta watch 'em.
Regards
