Re: Staying warm in Winter.... ? - AstroBusa - 27-06-2005 Geee.... thanks Chopper.... so your suggestion is... move to Queensland ??? Warm gloves.... I've got Underdog gauntlets which are great... and underneath in cold temps I wear silk liners... not toasty... but warmer than just leather. Hey Rocket.... love the pic... looks like you pee'd on the sign and can't move because of the 'snap freeze' ! Regards.... Rob (Astro) Re: Re:Staying warm in winter - AstroBusa - 27-06-2005 Driller.... the last time I stuffed a newspaper into my jacket was..... 10 days ago ! Still works ! Actually, I don't know anyone who drinks xxxx. Why would ya drink that crap when there is plenty of Tooeys available, both old and new. Unless, of course you happen to be at the Breaky Ck pub where they serve xxxx off the wood. Man you gotta try that one day.......pure Mothers milk. My first shout eh! Regards Chopper "Cunning and treachery will triumph over youth and skill" Re: Staying warm in Winter.... ? - rev 01 - 27-06-2005 Driller's on the money with the newspaper trick, 10,000 park vagrant's around Oz can't be wrong Tooheys Old ? yeah ! not a bad drop at all Chops ! Re: Staying warm in Winter.... ? - BUSGO - 28-06-2005 Astro, Don't forget to compare the Rivet Rainlock Jackets to the DriRider ones, I reckon they are better. Don't know about the price comparison though. Oh, and don't compromise by buying a jacket with vents all over them for summer, they just let the water in of course. Rgds BUSGO Re: Staying warm in Winter.... ? - AstroBusa - 28-06-2005 Thanks Busgo.... I'll check out the Rivets... I've got lotsa their gear already. Point taken on the venting. Regards.... Rob (Astro) Re: Staying warm in Winter.... ? - rocket rod 7777 - 28-06-2005 Astro, ive had both, dririder and rivet, and to be honest the dririders shit on the rivet gear for quality, but go check them out for yourself.
