Great Thread Astro - I've had a few highlights this year, but a regular one is our weekends away to the far flung corners of NSW - two couples on two busas leaving the city on friday arvo, enjoying country hospitality and the open roads......

It's a long story but the look on Astro's face when i opened the garage door and he saw his busa for the first time at 8.30pm and receiving an sms at 2.30am after his laps of the old rd in winter

Lowlight would have to be the motorcycling friends we lose, I shed a small tear for all of them.

Have a good safe xmas everyone

Top idea, but delete beer and add Jimmi.

Low -- The passing of Dirtbags had a large effect on me. I always carry his memorial card in my inside pocket when on the bike. Helps keep me safe.(That's what I beleive .

High -- Everytime I look into my little girls eyes or see her do or learn something new. Unfuckingbelievable.
(I could also say selling the busa for a superior all-round bike but that would probably get some hackles up , I'm happy)

As Pinky says, good health, good family, good friends... can't beat it! Cheers,
Holge

Mr Tonys highlight would have to be riding with guys whose bikes have the same power and guts to do the business.

Mine would be the reward after he gets home from one of those ride

Low was the shitful service on the bus from a certain dealership

Mine was hearing about the shitful service on the bus from a certain dealership

Greetings

The Best Thing? Easy..................

Waking up with a heart beat!

The End

Merry Cristmas - fasterfaster1 - 08-12-2006

Quote !

Rods got hold of Santa's sleigh
He's tossed the running gear away
Ripped out the velvet, ditched the reins
"I'm making changes !", he explains

Tells the Reindeer "Go out and play !"
"Coz a busa motor's on the way !"
"I won't be needing you this year."
"Go tell the elves - bring Jimmi", "Clear ?"

End Quote !

Fitted a blower
And some N O 2
Four fifty reindeers
Give or take a few

The christmas eve round
Will be done in a shot
Now the sleigh comes equipped
With one with the lot

But listen and heed thee
As you enjoy Christmas cheer
Ride with a caution
And thoughts of those dear

I can now only sit and watch
All the things I once did
So much is my yearning
To be able to once again don my lid

I may be in heaven
Fitting in as I should
But believe me when I tell you
Up here ain't all "Good Good "

So do love the Busa
And enjoy it each day
But respect it can hurt you
An for your safe journey I pray

Merry Christmas - mutherT - 09-12-2006

This year has not been a very good year for me at all. My nephew died and he was only 19. Then dirtbags had his accident and then my mother passed away just after dirtbags funeral, to top it of my boyfriend dumped 2 days after my mum died. There was also another 2 people that I had known since I was a kid that passed away, all of this in a matter of 3 months. The highlights have been a trip to Cairns this year and good friends helping me keep it together. Merry Christmas to everyone and a Happy new year...
