RE: Batty's L3 BEE - mozzie26 - 05-07-2014 Looks good Tony, bet it sounds a lot nicer too! ![]() RE: Batty's L3 BEE - Batfink - 05-07-2014 Yes mate... Very happy with the dual note Got the restrictors to put in if the boys in blue get unhappy but that's ONLY a last resort RE: Batty's L3 BEE - Kendo - 05-07-2014 Looking real nice Tony. Those cans look great on it. ![]() RE: Batty's L3 BEE - Hayabusabike - 05-07-2014 Yeah batty, still love the rear hangers. You've given me ideas:) Oh by the way, you'll have no issues with the plods. They meet Noise tests, at least in WA anyway :) Same all over country :) RE: Batty's L3 BEE - Batfink - 10-08-2014 playing with my rearsets again.... started as OEM silver ![]() then changed to this ![]() and now it's THIS ![]() OEM but sprayed black Finally got some spare time and NOT freezing wet weather lol ![]() On Bridport Rd ![]() ![]() The reason for stopping is my ODO just hit 1000 K wwwooooo hoooooo ![]() Unfortunately after doing my 200K ride my boots have killed the paintwork on the rearsets LOL So I will be looking at either baked 2 pack or powder coating next. RE: Batty's L3 BEE - Ward P - 10-08-2014 I've just done the same thing. Also did the footpegs. Looks heaps cleaner with rear in black with pegs folded up in black as well. This is attempt 1. I stuck black carbon fibre vinyl wrap on the rub points to see if it will keep it looking good for a while. If it does look shabby quickly it'll be off to the powdercoaters. RE: Batty's L3 BEE - Batfink - 10-08-2014 Very nice Wardy... I was toying with vinyl carbon fibre to match yoshi cans lol Going to get prices on powder coating next RE: Batty's L3 BEE - Ward P - 10-08-2014 (10-08-2014, 09:26pm)Batfink Wrote: Very nice Wardy... I was toying with vinyl carbon fibre to match yoshi cans lol Let us know what the cost is?? I had mine in at the powdercoaters, didn't ask how much just said do it. They rang me to come get the fronts to get the rubbers pressed out. figured as I had them back I'd give em a paint and see how it looks and how long it lasts. Gave them 3 coats of clear on top. But haven't ridden it yet. Want to give it few more days for the paint to harden in this cold wet weather. Also shortenned those silly long hero peg feelers. took the spacer out. RE: Batty's L3 BEE - Batfink - 10-08-2014 Was there anything left to shorten??? I seen you ride man lol RE: Batty's L3 BEE - Batfink - 04-05-2015 Time for an update and a change is coming.... Gone will be the yellow ass and front fender Still in the period of trying to get things done but she is in her winter cave for a facelift and prep for WA. The angry Bee will be ready to roll.
