See, I am a computer whiz....no need to thank me now, all good RE: Forum defaulting to search page - Dale - 21-12-2013 Microsoft must be involved somewhere .... Just keep hitting the "View Today's Posts" every few seconds for say 5 minutes and it will playup. I just built this forum here on my server. There are no issues at all. It's using exact same software and version so reconfirms a server issue. http://winampforum.com/ RE: Forum defaulting to search page - Belzybob - 22-12-2013 Finding a few odd things. Had a few failures to load the site over the last few days, with a server message that resources allocation had been exceeded (something like that) and three times in this session I've selected a thread and been told the thread doesn't exist. Hitting 'back' brings the thread up. RE: Forum defaulting to search page - DjPete - 22-12-2013 same here with that thread doesn't exist message too. RE: Forum defaulting to search page - Maj - 23-12-2013 Clear now but my anti virus blocked the site for several days it said due to a trojan RE: Forum defaulting to search page - DjPete - 23-12-2013 what browser and antivirus Maj? RE: Forum defaulting to search page - ROD - 23-12-2013 I have had reply from web city to provide link to fault but now i cant seem to make it do it RE: Forum defaulting to search page - DjPete - 23-12-2013 You need to ask them to repeatedly hit the view new posts button for 5 mins to get it to do it as its random. Suggest to them that I said it seems to be settings on the server, maybe PHP memory limit. Ask them what the current PHP memory limit is and can they increase it for you. Let me know how you go. Good luck, you'll need it. RE: Forum defaulting to search page - Batfink - 23-12-2013 funny how things seems better now??? not doing what it has been doing over past few days RE: Forum defaulting to search page - DjPete - 23-12-2013 reconfirming that. I can't get it to play up either. So maybe they tweaked a setting when Rod spoke to them. Not sure if the deleting Members issue will be fixed but this seems to have stopped as far as I can see, for now.
