Welcome aboard mewho, I'm in briso too and have just been getting used to my new bike.
Don't know if ya can mod a speedo? Sounds all very electronic and probably locked down tight at the factory. I'm just thankful the fuel guage is accurate. First bike I have ever owned that has a true fuel guage.
