I got the K&N so I could get the sticker for the fridge!! You don't get that with the OEM

When I first had the turbo dyno tuned we used the stock filter and got it tuned perfectly. In total the bike had 57 runs on the dyno at various boost levels to get the Motec tuned with progressive gear based boost and to dial in the Aquamist water/methanol injection, the difference beween the OEM & correctly oiled K&N was zero.
My turbo gen1 & 1441 gen2 both run OEM filters.

I'm getting the point there is no performance difference. But at $80 it isn't much more expensive than OEM and I no longer have to replace it.

How is your turbo set up if your running a OME air filter?
I have a K+N pod straight on the turbo..

HAha Axe you made me laugh and realise that I have had a few too many. Please ignore my turbo comments - it runs a K&N cut into the side of the fairing.
Was confusing the turbo & 1441 - no difference on the dyno between stock filter & K&N on the worked normally aspirated motor.
