You might find your Fan "on " more than its "off" with this mod. adding more load to the battery etc.

Leonard.
Never done it myself, but always use Engine Ice now with Muzzys cooling fan and higher blow off pressure radiator cap The Gen2 overheated & spat the dummy one day whilst being run in. Worried about the battery ? No worries, just bung 2 in the mutha in parallel with a 500 watt stator, and hey, that'll even run a switched piggyback cooling water pump with potentiometer for flow adjustment. Then again, you could just avoid idling & trafficClap

What sort of cooling system do you run in your Top Fueler ?
I'll hopefully see your "passion" one day.
Cheers

No cooling system as such, it consumes about 20Liters of Nitromethane per run, and that itself is is a type of intercooling .

It's definatly something to be seen in person...

Leonard.

Thanks for the input. The hot air is mainly on my calfs, and I have read that this is fairly common. The duage is accurate, the fan is fine, si i think it was just not having ridden a fukky faired high performance bike for a while. On another note, I read twist of the wrist, a simple but good read, and am riding faster, safer and smoother with each outing. Woo Hooo
