Job Done !!!
I was surprised at the amount of gunk that came out. Bike does seem to run a lot smoother, especially at lower rpm's

To remove the pump and filter, remove the 2 screws from the bracket and the pump and sender wires , keeping note of the positions of the wire (phone pic) , then pull or pry the pump/filter assembly straight up, its a tight o ring fit on the outlet pipe , then the pump pulls out of the filter the same way, keep track of the o rings or rubber seals, they need to be placed on the male half of each fitting during assembly , the regulator can be removed too so you don't fill it with mud in the cleaning process , and the sender is also better off out of the way .
i got up at 5 this morning and removed the injectors and cleaned out the screens and there was a fair bit of gunk in them...i'll fire it up later this morning and see how it go's fingers cross'd.

ay thats good ya got the job done mate. hopefully i can get the same result im after this morning.....even though its raining and cant ride, it would just be good to hear my busa runing 100% again.

It was raining pretty heavy last night so didn't really get a chance to open it up. Not to mention double demerits .. Looking forward to nice sunny day when officer plod isn't on the warpath.
