Under the current laws if a vehicle is a repaired write off then it states that on the rego papers. This affects the value of the vehicle but also lets the purchaser know that there is an accident history.
What happens under the new legislation? Do the insurance company just fix everything and not tell the new owner that it has been in a major acco? Are we then totally reliant on the integrity of the reparer and the insurer.
This seems to me to open the door for even more dodgy repairs.

unfortunatly burue is 100% spot on . but at the same time dodgy pricks in the repair industry got the ball rolling .
wreckers prices will also come down (finger crossed) so spare parts will be cheaper
