RE: Tool kit for trip. - Heidi1 - 11-03-2010 They are great if you can get one in time. When I travel on my own, I just grab every biker I see at a petrol station and make them spray while I push. People are generally really nice and I've never had a knock-back. RE: Tool kit for trip. - Missy_Moo - 11-03-2010 (11-03-2010, 09:47pm)Heidi1 Wrote: They are great if you can get one in time. Good point Heidi, there is always the obvious. Thanks ![]() RE: Tool kit for trip. - Heidi1 - 11-03-2010 I tend to go the obvious option where possible!! I'd never seen one of those fabulous foldable stands until I saw the one Bruce took around the country, I didn't know they existed until then. The old 'asking for help' trick has always worked! People on bikes look out for each other. If you are anything like me, you'll end up picking up friends on the road anyway. RE: Tool kit for trip. - Missy_Moo - 11-03-2010 lol yeah, my coach had a saying about me, everywhere he went he'd say "Margot".....they were sure to respond "We know Margot!" They nearly got shirts printed, lmao at them. Well the other half got home this arvo, I exited said 'look what I did' and proudly showed him the new cleaner ass end of the bike.... He frowned, said 'what'.... 'can't tell the difference'.... Blokes!!! I tell ya, just like noticing hair colour or hair cuts!!! My little info gathering I completed in the last couple of days on bike mechanics in local area, surprised him. At least he took notice of that. Me thinks I will leave post it notes reminding him of my achievments. - lol (11-03-2010, 10:00pm)Heidi1 Wrote: I tend to go the obvious option where possible!! I did remember a mention or a picture f this, but for the life of me I couldn't find it, or put a name to it... till tonight. ha ha (hmmm me thinks I am not revising enough on the right subject) RE: Tool kit for trip. - bazman - 12-03-2010 (11-03-2010, 09:47pm)Heidi1 Wrote: When I travel on my own, I just grab every biker I see....and make them spray while I push..... ![]() ![]() ![]() "ALL ozzie females should subscribe to this extremely generous philosophy......it should be made a part of our constitution" (vote 1 - Heidi for PM) !!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() RE: Tool kit for trip. - Heidi1 - 12-03-2010 Oh shut up. ![]() RE: Tool kit for trip. - Ward P - 12-03-2010 Stubby holder and cork screw - everything else in my tool kit is purely for show. Need to pull a rabbit out of a magic place to finish with a pass, got 3 more days.... f*ck, f*ckity, f*ck, f*ck, f*cki... (& I was right this afternoon, the instructor WAS wrong and proven so....) RE: Tool kit for trip. - bazman - 16-03-2010 try not to stress to hard about it Missy...... juz try to get into "the zone".....and let things "flow". ![]() (of course it's so easy for me to say that......coz it ain't my ass in da hot-seat.....but ya know wot i mean!) ![]() RE: Tool kit for trip. - Missy_Moo - 16-03-2010 Thanks Baz, that zone shall be running hot and I hope to be a demanding, non stop talking biatch.... lol that will work!!!
