Shit yeah, doesn't gaffa fix everything? You'll be right, gaffa has been tested to 200mph.

RE: WA Busa Speed Trials - Roo Boy - 18-12-2009

B4 you East Coasters hijack this thread,
I'm in.
Oh, I don't have a speed limiter to remove.

RE: WA Busa Speed Trials - Camel - 19-12-2009

We'll just have to make it go faster then!

RE: WA Busa Speed Trials - Cb Boy - 19-12-2009

RE: WA Busa Speed Trials - jas1340 - 19-12-2009

RE: WA Busa Speed Trials - Camel - 19-12-2009

Okay, there's a lot of interest in this. It's getting bigger than Ben Hur.

There's a few directions we can take this:
  • Run WA Busa Speed trials as an event with insurance, permits, etc
  • Run speed trials as part of a larger event, coming under the promoter's insurance
  • Some bloke sitting in the shade with the ECU flashing kit, and.. "hey look! we just so happen to be near a suitable venue!".....

Point 1 or 2 would be fine, afterall it is a speed trial, so let's look at making it official!.Yes

Hey Camel, '99's were the last of the 300+ off the shelf so no prob's with the bike getting there just need to remove the speedlimiter off me.
$2.60 is the most change I've got from me.

RE: WA Busa Speed Trials - Courts - 21-12-2009

Sounds great. Would definitely be up for this. Saves me sending the ecu
over east to be reflashed.Coolafro

Hey Camel,
have u or any mates got any good contacts to help make this event "do-able"???
If/when this gets organised.....if enough notice is given, could make the difference between just a few of us > > > > > or a H-U-G-E turn-out of 'busa speed-freaks !!!!
LET'S DO IT!!!!!!!!Yes
