Geeze... if simmo was any kind of gentleman he'd have stood there and picked it up for you, dusted it off and packed it in your luggage before getting on his own bike. Send him back for it!

Ya go Simmo get the wood back....ops sounded dirty....:)
My third Busa - still haven't done the stand mode.
but it's a good idea.
Cheers
Bill

Wolf Wolf
I do remember Bruce picking your bike as you tumbled down the hill Wm
The side stand mod is a must, if you lower your bike youn need to take a little extra off

I know this is hard to believe, but I do occasionally do things without Simmo in tow. This time it was TEX that was not a gentleman and left me without wood.

Bump

I thought it was worth bumping this thread since I just did the mod to my stand last week. I'm sleeping better at night now that I'm not worrying about my bike having another little nap itself again.

If you're reading this thread and thinking 'I don't need to do that. It will never happen to me', all I can say is, that is what I used to think. Boy, I sure was wrong. My bike fell over in a sealed, locked garage in the middle of the night and hadn't been touched for 8 hours. One day (maybe with some therapy) I hope to be able to look at the left hand side of my bike again without crying.
