I had Savage do a major service on mine, the bike when finished was idling at 1700 revs.
I went in and saw a mechanic who came out and turned the idle down. he did not know that the bike had just been serviced.
He said the brake and clutch fluids look a bit dirty, he then looked at the k's and said your due for a service we will replace them then.
Will never go back.

Yer i just bought a new 2010 busa from them last week and i have to say there level of service is great. The workshop looks clean and tidy and the mechanics are friendly and happy (which is a good thing) so when my 1st service rolls up i will definitely take my baby there

Well my baby just clicked over her first 1000 k's and took her to McCullough's Suzuki for her virgin service. I Was happy with the service.
The service included: Remove oil and replace oil filter, Remove and clean air filter, Checking the usual things,
Parts used: a gasket, oil and oil filter
All up it came to $182.50.

got my 1st service done here in new zealand at freedom suzuki in palmerston north cost $210.00 oil,filter and a check on all the nuts bolts fluids and a check on a engine noise i thought might have been the clutch problem which turns out to be the air system making pure air for the motor when 1st started up.

I was thinking about getting my bike serviced at savage, but that isn't a very good recommendation. Everyone else thinks that they are OK. I wonder if your experience was a one off??

24k Service - Landmine - 02-03-2010
K8 24K service is nearly due. It has been a pleasure to ride and no problems. Wondering how much 24k service costs? Apart from the normal items like oil and filter owners manual requires replacement of spark plugs and valve clearance check. Are there any other servicing items I should request?
Is it necessary to ever replace fork oil?

The suspension place I go to , Howey Suspension Adelaide ,reckon you should have your suspension serviced every 20,000 km, so ,yes your fork oil needs renewal eventually .
