RE: The Gen2 1441 build - REVIT13 - 24-11-2011 when are ya starting the 1687cc build thread :) RE: The Gen2 1441 build - fasterfaster - 25-11-2011 MMM first run on the dyno with the 1441 flash tune was disapointing. Less power than the base line reading for the small motor with air fuel all over the place, wouldnt rev past 9500rpm. I'd imagine going with the BIG two valve head would have a lot to do with that Bruce ??????? I'll send you down a tweaked map with the secondaries cutting in sooner should go close to the money ![]() RE: The Gen2 1441 build - GRUNTMAX - 25-11-2011 BIG 2 valve head ??? Bruce, please explain ![]() RE: The Gen2 1441 build - BLACKZOOK - 25-11-2011 Thanks for all the pm's guys but the 1441 crank, rods, block, flashed ecu, ported head and cams and other bits have all been sold to a club member. Should be a nice drop in - tuned 230+hp upgrade for him. RE: The Gen2 1441 build - twistgrip - 26-11-2011 the valves in them 2 valve heads r way to heavy...replace em with carbon fibre ones & u'll b good to go. RE: The Gen2 1441 build - Madmax - 26-11-2011 Carbon fibre valves? Nice and light but wouldn't last long in a head methinks. Fragile? RE: The Gen2 1441 build - GRUNTMAX - 27-11-2011 I reckon the 1687 is a total "wind up" ![]() RE: The Gen2 1441 build - pan - 27-11-2011 Not as much as the poisonous milk issue RE: The Gen2 1441 build - Boofhead - 30-03-2016 Damn, I'm in love with Gen1's hate the look of Gen2's and I had some money to spend , but not the 11k required to go 1441 devo'd :( |
