RE: Mocha/Latte night in WA - Iburgr - 24-12-2009 Good to see so many of you there last night, I must be getting old, was told about the but didn't see any must have been distracted by all the Busa's I guess. Nice to see a 2010 model grace us with it's presence - nice Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all, see you all again in 2010. Rob. RE: Mocha/Latte night in WA - Camel - 24-12-2009 ??? I didn't see any ! How strange. Introspection required..... Camel RE: Mocha/Latte night in WA - Bill Gaheer - 04-01-2010 Hi Guys, Happy new year, would like to recommend the next coffee meet in the second week of Feb 2010. need some advice on dates and location. Cheers, Bill RE: Mocha/Latte night in WA - Huls - 04-01-2010 How about we tie the night/afternoon in with some sort of casual group ride to the coffee location. I don't care if we have a ride through the hills and a coffee up there or back in the city somewhere. Other option is to go up or down the coast with the coffee wherever. It doesn't need to be mapped out and I enjoy the socialising, just enjoy riding the bike more. (good views there). But I'm keen for a group ride aw well so +1 for me. RE: Mocha/Latte night in WA - Leviathan - 04-01-2010 I'm in, I should have my new bike by then........ RE: Mocha/Latte night in WA - Iburgr - 05-01-2010 Count me in, group ride and then a coffe afterwards sounds good to me Bill - want to nominate a date and time??? RE: Mocha/Latte night in WA - Huls - 05-01-2010 If I can be so bold. How about 3pm Sunday Jan 24th. I figure a Sunday afternoon is a good time for a social ride as most people are doing stuff Fri & Sat nights. 3pm gives enough time to ride for a bit and then settle for a drink whilst watching the world go by. I'm guessing plenty of it goes by Trigg in the late afternoon. Selfishly the 24th suits me as I have that day off and it gives a few weeks notice. I'm still keen to go through the hills as its better riding roads and you're not stuck in traffic at red lights. If it's a hills ride I know a nice route starting from Armadale and finishing at Mundaring Weir. Nothing too fast but plenty of corners at a sporting cruise. A good meet point would be BP Success just off Kwinana Fwy and head along Armadale Rd from there. Anyway, thoughts on this? I'm open to any changes, just wanted to make a suggestion. RE: Mocha/Latte night in WA - Stuntrider666 - 05-01-2010 Count me in. This is one of the few weekends that I have off. RE: Mocha/Latte night in WA - Roo Boy - 05-01-2010 I'm doing a Advance Road Craft day with elite that Sunday but will meet up to go on ride dependant on finish time or afterwards at Yelo in Trigg. Sorry didn't read entire post by Huls but I will meet wher ever we are - Weather Dependant. RE: Mocha/Latte night in WA - Rev004 - 07-01-2010 (05-01-2010, 05:06pm)Huls Wrote: If I can be so bold. Hi Huls Are you thinking of a ride into the hills and then ending up back on the coast at Trigg or were you thinking of a couple of different ride options. I might be able to get there, not 100% sure at this stage.. RE: Mocha/Latte night in WA - Huls - 08-01-2010 (07-01-2010, 11:17pm)Rev004 Wrote:(05-01-2010, 05:06pm)Huls Wrote: If I can be so bold. I'm not fussed Kev where we end up. Happy to do the hills and end up back on the coast watching the scenery walk by. Alternatively, we could end up stopping at Mundaring Weir Hotel or similar. I'll wait for a few more opionions before settling on an option. So if you have an opinion, voice it and I'll settle for a majority rules. Be nice to get around ten bikes or so though. RE: Mocha/Latte night in WA - duc13 - 08-01-2010 Another option could be a morning run thru the hills (beat the heat) they have a decent cafe at the Mundaring Wier pub. RE: Mocha/Latte night in WA - Rev004 - 10-01-2010 Fellers as I'm still not 100% sure if I can make it or not it doesn't really worry me so If I can get there I will like Huls and go with the flow in other words I'm going to sit on the Fence.
