It would be interesting to do a comparison on another dyno agin other bikes.

Hey TEX how about a shop dyno day???? I'll bring the jaffa and the turbo

That bike will be one nice street animal. Impressive figures mate, I am sure u will enjoy it!.
My Dyno is same brand as Pete's, the interesting thing for me was looking at those charts for the relative stock gen11 & gen1 are almost identical to what I have come up. I have no doubt ur bike will run similar figures on my dyno'.
As for a club BBQ/Dyno' day, if there is enough interest, no problems, perhaps early in the New Year & depending on numbers, maybe we could also have a workshop day with Leonard sharing his wealth of info' on the intricacies of hotting up the mighty 'Busa. I'm sure ur two bikes would create some keen interest!.
Anyway I'll throw it out there, who would be interested in coming??.
PM sent Bruce.

Cheers,
Tex & Bundy

How bout the RGV? She's a slow starter, but once you make her cross she's unstoppable!!

RE: The Gen2 1441 build - BLACKZOOK - 19-12-2009

I rode it from Prospect to St Leonards, 8 am Sydney peak hour and hotter than hell. Most of the trip is at almost idle lanes plitting all the way.
The return was the same peak hour and 40 degrees C motor never missed a beat and temp stayed at just under half.

Friday the same trip in and back this time in the pouring rain. She is a big pussy cat and makes a pretty good commuter bike.

The number plate I was pretty wasted when I ordered it, was supposed to be orange and white. The restamped one is on its way.

I had some stickers made to, seemed fitting

Oh yeah when you open the throttle - any revs - any gear - it just goes nuts!

I'd love to get the Yoshi cams back in and bring the black up - 6th and 7th Feb or the 20 and 21st Feb would suite. We're away on family hols most of January

Gotta love the life of a shiftworker.

RE: The Gen2 1441 build - Legend - 23-12-2009

Love the stickers mate!!!
That would be enough to promote a bit of healthy traffic light competition.......
I can see it now:

Victim: "1441 ha ha as if"
Bruce : "Bye bye"
Victim : "Bastard!"
Lol2
Leonard.

Assuming I could keep the front wheel down on a quick takeoff, at the moment it lobs the front wheel in the first 3 nearly 4 gears just on the throttle.
Heidi and Tycho got a good look at its torque on the way to the busa xmas party last Saturday, its impressive.Pi_tongue
