Astor Metal Finishes Chrome Plating in Sydney - simmo - 22-06-2006 Well Guys this is who we are using in the SSGM for all our plating Its hard to find a good chrome plater that will chrome alloy If you clean up your parts before hand, back to 320 wet & dry you will save Its best to clean up your parts first and take them in for a free quote It takes about 2 weeks for turnaround but has done some within a week If you ask for Richard and say your from the Australian Hayabusa club it can only help Astor Metal Finishes 93 Malta st (end of the street, off Woodville rd) Villawood 9727 5622 ps things thay can do Disassemble (not sure they mean bike) Paint strip Chrome strip Full strip Sandblast Linish Polish Detail polish Copper Copper Finish Plating post plat, polish Lacquer reassemble Ok time to fess up I'm Copper plating mine with a gloss tinted coat of lacquer a Finished Cheers Robert Aren't all 'busas Copper, the others are just all poor slow copies !!!!!<i>Edited by: simmo at: 21/9/06 9:14 pm </i> Re: Astor Metal Finishes Chrome Plating in Sydney - Blackzook - 22-06-2006 +1 they did a great job on my bits and if you prep the parts first the price is very reasonable. And some other stuff. Some more stuff going in for chrome plating as well. Most of the above has already been chrome plated but I need a bit of colour for contrast. Knowing how lazy I am it may take a while to get it all ready.
