busa motor so here it is.

wa drag racing gun tim mclure who used to race a 1398 busa and now on a 1000cc gixxer trialled a bking at the motorplex with nothing more than yoshi slip ons ran a 10.14sec pass.

i thought someone ran one of these in qld and was around 10.50 but the time above is very quick for a stocker that is wheelie prone.

can't wait to see him on a gen 2 busa having run 9.16 or 9.13 on his old busa.

cheers

Thats not bad going!

Dava nd Bec from Motoaus will be punting there B-King down the track for the first time this week, will be interesting to compare numbers.

Eventually it will be lowered and set for some more serious numbers.

The 10.5 was in Vic, not taking it too seriously, he was racing another bike on the same day and was more interested in going fast on it..

they are heavier and a longer wheelbase. He must have launched pretty high, the one i rode had no balls under 5grand,i didn,t find it a wheelie machine at all.The front tickles the pavement pinned in second, good from 5-9500 stock that is but still a nice thing just not scary. What was the mph for the pass, you can,t get out of the breeze on them very well.

here's the splits

60ft 1.73
330 4.43
660 6.60 @ 113.07mph
terminal speed at 136.92mph for a 10.14

Tim is no lightweight either at about 100kgs. This was his 1st outing on it. i reckon he'd run a 9 before too long but like i said he can ride having run 9.4's on a gixxer 1000 as well. One of the other racers is keen to get himself one for some fun on the street.

pretty good for a naked bike. From the 60 to the 330 it shows the bike has got some torque.

Bec ran the B-King tonight. Dead stock, with no mods from showroom at all.

10.05 best.

bit more in it, pretty hard to launch at std height.

Probably run it again how it is at the Shootout next Saturday, looking for a nine.

Not sure, Probabley though.

I, and a couple of others, asked about 60ft times
and terminal speeds. No reply yet.

Not saying its not possible, but would be interested in seeing the ticket.

I don't doubt it at all.

Light, skilled rider shouldn't have a problem doing those times.
